Description
Former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine William Taylor calls President Donald Trump’s pause on Russian sanctions a “gift” to Vladimir Putin. Taylor argues easing restrictions on Russian oil sales will have little effect on U.S. fuel prices, while helping Moscow fund its war. He also questions interruptions to Ukraine’s satellite access and intelligence sharing as Russian attacks continue. Taylor joins Global’s Jazan Grewal to discuss Washington’s shifting policy and its implications for Ukraine.
