Description
Saturday looked like a night of change for many B.C. municipalities, as many incumbent mayors lost their seats in sometimes close races. Vancouverites voted in a new mayor, with Pete Fry projected to take the top job in that city, beating out incumbent Ken Sim. And in what could be a surprise for many, Surrey's new mayor is projected to be Doug McCallum, beating out incumbent mayor Brenda Locke. We had complete coverage of the municipal elections in this show, hosted by Chris Gailus, Sophie Lui and Keith Baldrey, with Ben O'Hara-Byrne providing live election results. CKNW's Jas Johal hosted a panel of election experts who provided analysis throughout the night.
