Casetify x Hideo Kojima: How to get free collectible cards with 'Death Stranding' merch - Mashable

Casetify x Hideo Kojima collection lineup: As the holiday season keeps rolling, Casetify just dropped a brand-new collection with Hideo Kojima that makes for an easy gift for gamers or anyone who wants artistic flair on their everyday gear. Centered on the genre-defying Death Stranding franchise, this drop marks the very first time Casetify has collaborated directly with a game developer to bring a full lineup to life. Developed straight out of Tokyo with Kojima Productions, the collection blends Hideo Kojima’s signature world-building and Yoji Shinkawa’s unmistakable visual language with Casetify's product engineering. Instead of just slapping logos onto plastic, they worked right from the source — turning early sketches, symbols, and materials into physical tech artifacts.

Astronomers uncover new secrets of the Universe’s first five minutes - Science Daily

Scientists have measured the amount of helium produced during the Universe's first five minutes with unprecedented precision, offering a clearer picture of the conditions that existed shortly after the Big Bang. The achievement, made by an international research team that includes scientists from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, represents a major advance in precision cosmology. The findings, presented in five papers published in The Astrophysical Journal, are based on 130 hours of observations using the Large Binocular Telescope. By analyzing distant galaxies, the researchers reduced the uncertainty in this fundamental measurement to just 0.5%, making it three times more precise than previous estimates.

Meta Muse exposes users’ personal and business secrets when they share conversations - Ars Technica

Muse, the new general-purpose AI agent from Meta, can expose sensitive information when users share conversations through Web links, researchers reported Monday. In response to questions from Ars about the behavior, Meta said it’s suspending the sharing feature while the company reviews it and considers making changes. Like many online services, Muse has allowed users to share searches, conversations, images, and similar content with other people. Such share features usually involve clicking an option to create a unique URL that anyone can use to load a page hosting the content. To keep potentially sensitive information from being accessible to unintended people, the URLs typically contain a long sequence of text that can’t be easily guessed.

Meta prepares Muse Confidential VM for private AI work - TestingCatalog AI News

Meta is preparing to introduce Muse Confidential VM, a more private way to use its personal AI agent. The company previously teased the feature, and it is now partially implemented in the web interface. A dedicated settings section will allow users to enable it. According to the notice, conversations will run in a secure, encrypted environment that keeps data private, even from Meta. Conversations and other data processed in this mode will not be used to train Meta’s AI models. Unlike the existing Muse Secure VM, Confidential VM is designed to prevent even Meta from accessing users’ information. Meta previously confirmed plans to launch the technology before the end of 2026. Later this year, Meta will introduce Muse Confidential VM, where the whole VM, including a person’s data and conversations with Muse, is encrypted with a key only they hold, so not even Meta can access it. Private mode will initially have several limitations. Voice mode, image and video generation, and support for wearable devices such as Meta AI glasses and the Muse pin may not be available.

Tx launches USTX stablecoin to pull RWA liquidity onto its chain

Real-world asset (RWA) platform tx has launched USTX, a dollar stablecoin for its wallet and planned marketplace for tokenized stocks. Users will need USDC to mint USTX, which can also be redeemed for USDC, the company said in a Tuesday announcement shared with Cointelegraph. The platform accepts deposits from eight blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana and Base. “It is not a USDC-backed wrapper or synthetic representation of USDC,” Ashley Ebersole, tx’s co-founder and chief legal officer, told Cointelegraph. USDC provides a way to mint USTX, which has its own 1:1 reserve structure through Brale, he said. Fintech platform Brale issues USTX, manages its reserves and facilitates minting and redemption. According to tx, each token is backed by $1 in assets, including cash, bank deposits, government money market funds and short-term US Treasury bills. Brale said in June that it was working with Visa to improve the speed and programmability of blockchain-based stablecoin settlement in environments where privacy, compliance, and operational control are essential.
