Indonesia is ramping up its response to ongoing land and forest fires, deploying about 2.4 tonnes of dry ice over South Sumatra to disperse thick haze. The two-day operation initially focused around the international airport in the province's capital Palembang, where the smog has disrupted flight schedules.
