We Spied The Facelifted Santa Fe That Will Be Hyundai's First Range-Extender Hybrid

The body of the updated Santa Fe remains basically the same, though there may be some slight tweaks to the fender insert treatment. Up front, it'll get a similar treatment to the new Tucson, with tall blade-like running lights at the edges of the nose, an almost-full-width light bar running between them, and headlights hidden in small pods. It probably won't have as prominent of a grille, and it looks like the front bumper is chunkier and a little simpler. It has a similar taillight treatment at the rear, and while you can't see it, there should be a light bar running across the tailgate. You obviously can't tell from these photos, but the Santa Fe will get Hyundai Motor Group's new Pleos Connect infotainment system, which will be part of a major overhaul of its dashboard and center console. (It's already leaked, as you can see above.) A large center touchscreen will be paired with a slim gauge display in front of the driver, and there are more physical controls present.

Driven: The 2027 Polaris RZR Pro R Boost Puts the Hurt on Dirt

Is there a better state than Utah? It has everything an outdoor enthusiast could ever ask for. On top of that, the land formations created by millions of years of natural events make for some of the most entertaining and challenging off-road terrain rubber has ever dug into. They also deliver some epic views—although from behind the wheel of a high-performance side-by-side, you might never see them. Polaris’s newest world-blurring buggy is the RZR Pro R Boost. Available in a two-seat configuration starting at $51,994 or a four-seat for $55,994, this 275-hp behemoth is the king of the mountain. Or the sand dune. Maybe even a steep rock wall. Building off the existing Pro R platform, Polaris massaged most of its bones. The DOHC 2.0-liter inline-four now has different internals to handle the pressure administered by the large 60-mm turbo that’s become the life of the party. The 275 horses make this the most powerful buggy available, topping the Can-Am Maverick R’s 240 horsepower and the Kawasaki Teryx H2’s 250 ponies. The competition cannot come close to its 223 pound-feet of torque.

Modulation of EMT-related gene expression in colorectal cancer by carvacrol-conjugated ZnO nanoparticles: an integrated in silico and in vitro study - Nature

We’re sharing this article early to provide faster access to peer-reviewed, accepted research. It is citable and carries a permanent DOI. This version is subject to further edits and will be replaced automatically by the final Version of Record. All legal disclaimers apply. AbstractEpithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT) is a key driver of colorectal cancer (CRC) progression and metastasis. Identifying pivotal EMT-related genes and novel therapeutic approaches may enhance patient outcomes. In this study, we analyzed EMT-related gene expression in CRC using TCGA data and identified differentially expressed genes via protein-protein interaction networks and centrality analysis. The anticancer effects of ZnO and ZnO@glu-Carvacrol nanoparticle were evaluated in HCT-116 and HT-29 cells using MTT assays, gene expression profiling of proliferation and apoptosis markers, colony formation, and scratch wound-healing assays. Among 200 EMT-related genes, 75 were upregulated and 69 downregulated in CRC. Seventeen hub genes were identified, with SERPINE1 and BGN showing the strongest association with poor patient survival in exploratory survival analyses.

Sunseeker vs. Mova: I Tested Two Wire-Free Robot Mowers on My Complex Lawn - CNET

If you’ve been contemplating a robot lawn mower, you likely have a number of questions about how they perform, especially if you have a complicated lawn layout, as I do. When their respective manufacturers offered me the Sunseeker Elite X7 Plus Gen 2 and the Mova Lidax Ultra 2000 AWD for testing, my first concern was whether they’d be able to handle my large, sloped, obstacle-strewn lawn. I was pleasantly surprised across the board. Not only was setting up both mowers relatively simple, but I was also impressed by how consistently they managed my lawn.

Crews will close sidewalks along East Broadway and South Seventh Street in Columbia starting Monday to paint the Gentry Building's soffits. The Public Works Department will begin painting the roofline soffits at 8 a.m. Monday, and work will continue through Oct. 30, according to a city news release. This will close the adjacent sidewalks from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for about two weeks, weather permitting, according to the release. Signage will be in place around the work area and at nearby intersections to guide pedestrians to safe crossing points, according to the news release. Crews will remove all barricades and reopen the walkways at the end of each workday, according to the release. The Gentry Building, located at 1 S. Seventh Street, houses Columbia's Parks and Recreation Department. Its past tenants include a post office, library, and the city's water and light and human resources departments. It was named in honor of Ann Hawkins Gentry, who served as postmistress from 1838 to 1865.
