US President Donald Trump has been travelling around the country to stump for Republican candidates, as the midterm elections are less than two weeks away. The Republican Party is fighting to hold on to slim majorities in both the House and Senate. The Democrats need a net gain of four seats to take control of each chamber. This comes as approval for Mr Trump slumps to 32% — an all-time low for the US president, amid public anger over the cost of living and fuel prices. His support for data centres is also seen as a liability, as concerns grow over consumption of water and energy at complexes, as well as jobs lost to AI.
