Description
Youths with less-severe mental health conditions could soon be referred directly to community organisations for support, instead of public healthcare institutions like the Institute of Mental Health. This is part of a new unified framework to streamline Singapore's community mental health services and help people access the right care they need more easily. Existing community mental health services will be brought under one network called HealthierMind SG. The Health Ministry will work with the Agency for Integrated Care and community organisations to transition to the new framework in the coming months. Germaine Wong reports.
