Description

At the Forbes 30/50 Summit, artist, curator, and cultural advisor Noor Alsuwaidi delivers an inspiring keynote about her journey from an ambitious young girl in Abu Dhabi to becoming a pioneering force in the UAE's thriving cultural landscape. In this moving talk, Noor shares how her father’s early belief sparked her artistic passion, how overcoming grief and studying abroad shaped her confidence, and her pivotal role in building major UAE cultural institutions—from the Dubai Culture & Arts Authority to Expo 2020 and the Louvre Abu Dhabi. She also reflects on becoming the first Emirati artist featured at Christie’s auction and her decision at age 40 to choose herself and return to full-time art practice.
