Photo report: Seed meets Technology 2026 - MMJDaily

Seed meets Technology, the international seed technology trade show, took place this year at Vertify in Zwaagdijk-Oost, in the Netherlands' North Holland province. The three-day event brought together suppliers and users of seed processing equipment from around the world. As in previous editions, the show floor was filled with machinery, much of it in operation. What stood out, however, was that exhibitors asked about their latest innovations increasingly pointed to a screen or dashboard rather than a machine. With artificial intelligence on the rise, good software is becoming essential. Accurate measurement remains important, but the quality of the data behind it may matter even more. The photo report from the show features many of these screens, dashboards, and mobile apps. The event also drew many familiar companies and faces. At the same time, it continues to attract newcomers, bringing new technologies from new countries. Click here for the photo report © Thijmen Tiersma | MMJDaily.com

Pokémon Skateboards Sold In Blind Bags Sell Out Immediately

The artwork on a skateboard is generally something people give a lot of consideration. The idea of buying a skateboard sealed, not knowing what will appear on the deck, would typically be very strange indeed. That is, until there’s a Pokémon card printed on it, at which point all bets are off (thanks Polygon). Skateboard manufacturer Santa Cruz just launched a range of 30 different decks featuring some of the most popular Pokémon card arts, which were placed in sealed bags and bought blind for $140. They sold out instantly. “What you find in a Pokémon TCG booster pack is always a surprise,” says the store description on the Pokémon Center website, “and now you can experience that same excitement with a limited edition blind bag skateboard deck from Santa Cruz!” Which is a very peculiar equivalence. That doesn’t seem to have put anyone off, however, and despite a purchase limit of one per customer, the sealed decks have sold out in the U. S. and UK instantly.

Times in Google Search. Set us as preferred Two suspicious bags left near the main entrance to Disneyland prompted a bomb squad response Monday night, officials said. Disneyland security alerted the Anaheim Police Department at about 9:50 p.m. to two bags someone had left near a roundabout, including one with marbles inside and wires sticking out of it and another with duct tape on top and sharp instruments sticking out of it, Sgt. Eric Anderson said. One of the bags was on a dolly. Officers evacuated Disneyland visitors, directing them to another exit, and requested assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad to check out the bags. Shortly before midnight, the squad determined the bags were harmless and contained no explosives, Anderson said.

Chemists separate mirror-image molecules distinguished only by isotopes - Chemical & Engineering News

The latest chemistry news, including important research advances, business and policy trends, chemical safety practices, career guidance, and more. Some molecules have mirror-image forms that differ only in how isotopes of the same element are arranged. Because isotopic substitutions barely change a molecule’s size or shape, conventional methods such as recrystallization and chromatography have generally proved ineffective or impractical for separating them. Chemists have therefore largely had to build the desired form through carefully controlled reactions or start with molecules that already have a defined handedness.
