Disneyland security alerted the Anaheim Police Department at about 9:50 p.m. to two bags someone had left near a roundabout, including one with marbles inside and wires sticking out of it and another with duct tape on top and sharp instruments sticking out of it, Sgt. Eric Anderson said. One of the bags was on a dolly. Officers evacuated Disneyland visitors, directing them to another exit, and requested assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department bomb squad to check out the bags. Shortly before midnight, the squad determined the bags were harmless and contained no explosives, Anderson said.

Pokémon Skateboards Sold In Blind Bags Sell Out Immediately
The artwork on a skateboard is generally something people give a lot of consideration. The idea of buying a skateboard sealed, not knowing what will appear on the deck, would typically be very strange indeed. That is, until there’s a Pokémon card printed on it, at which point all bets are off (thanks Polygon). Skateboard manufacturer Santa Cruz just launched a range of 30 different decks featuring some of the most popular Pokémon card arts, which were placed in sealed bags and bought blind for $140. They sold out instantly. “What you find in a Pokémon TCG booster pack is always a surprise,” says the store description on the Pokémon Center website, “and now you can experience that same excitement with a limited edition blind bag skateboard deck from Santa Cruz!” Which is a very peculiar equivalence. That doesn’t seem to have put anyone off, however, and despite a purchase limit of one per customer, the sealed decks have sold out in the U. S. and UK instantly.

Danielle Smith calls for unity after separatism rejected in Alberta referendum
One day after Alberta voters rejected the idea of pursuing separation from Canada, Premier Danielle Smith said the turnout was a historic and a powerful testimony of the passion Albertans feel for the country and province. “Yesterday, Albertans made their choice. Today, we begin the next chapter,” the premier said in a speech that was broadcast Tuesday night during airtime paid for by the Alberta government. “Let us move forward not as a people divided by how we voted yesterday, but as neighbours, friends, Albertans and Canadians. Let us treat one another with respect and compassion. Let us stand proudly for this province.”The outcome of the referendum‘s separatism question mirrors more than half a year of polling, which since the beginning of 2026 consistently showed about 70 per cent of Albertans wanted the province to remain in Canada. Illinois' 2nd Congressional District candidates make cases to voters ahead of Election Day
KANKAKEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Illinois' 2nd Congressional District is diverse in many ways. It runs south from Chicago's South Side through the south suburbs to Kankakee and to Danville. It has been represented by Democrat Robin Kelly since 2012, but she left office for an unsuccessful run for Senate. ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. Democrat Donna Miller won the primary, beating candidates including Jesse Jackson Jr., who previously represented the district. She is a Cook County commissioner and a former healthcare executive. "Experience matters and being able to get things done matter. I think knowing how government works is important," Miller said. Miller lives in the south suburbs and shares that her family history goes back to a small family farm in Champaign County. "We have a competitive farm industry here in Illinois, and they should be competing not only here within the United States, but even on a global level," Miller said. Republican Mike Noack lives in a small town, west of Kankakee.
