Yager, 21, is off to a blistering start in the AHL, posting five goals and nine points in six games with the Moose, including five points in his past two. He went without a point in three games with the Jets last season, posting 10 goals and 30 points in 68 AHL games. Yager played four seasons in the Western Hockey League with the Moose Jaw Warriors and Lethbridge Hurricanes and helped Moose Jaw to a WHL championship in 2023-24.
