Trump Sports Suspicious Bulge at Make-a-Wish Medal Ceremony - Yahoo News Canada

Skip to mainUpdated Thu, October 8, 2026 at 10:38 p.m. UTCPresident Donald Trump's mystery bulge reared its ugly head again as he turned an awards ceremony into a chance to get one himself. The 80-year-old president exhibited an unusual bump on his backside while onstage at the "A New Golden Age" summit in Washington D. C. on Thursday. The apparent protrusion jutted out through the president's suit, causing its back vents to flare out as he accepted a posthumous science award on behalf of his late uncle, John G. Trump, at his vainly renamed "Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. "

Hands-On Preview: Nintendo Switch Sports Resort (Switch 2) - Nintendojo

Is the waggle strong with this one? We go into depth in our preview! I’ll admit, while I welcomed the return of the waggle when Nintendo Switch Sports launched back in 2022, something felt… off. Maybe it was the Joy-Con, which were a lot smaller than the Wii Remote ever was; maybe it was the motion controls, whose precision was greater on Nintendo Switch than Wii, but as a result didn’t have the same feel as the original; or maybe it was as simple as the look and feel of the new game wasn’t quite as charming as the original. Whatever the issue was, I still enjoyed Switch Sports, but it left me wanting. With the impending launch of Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, I have high hopes that it will be the proper return for the series that I’ve been longing for.

Multiple Power Four programs face College Sports Commission investigations over alleged NIL cap evasion - CBS Sports

Between five and 10 schools, including multiple College Football Playoff contenders, face scrutiny over third-party arrangements designed to skirt spending limits The College Sports Commission is investigating multiple Power Four programs for potential violations of college football's revenue-sharing and NIL rules, CBS Sports has learned.  Through public records requests, interviews and sources throughout college football, CBS Sports can report: The CSC is currently conducting longer-term investigations of between five to 10 Power Four programs. Among those programs are multiple College Football Playoff contenders. The CSC has been on campus at schools conducting interviews in person. The CSC has focused on "potential cap evasion and NIL-related violations between institutions, student-athletes and certain third-parties," per public records. These investigations of potential violations are not dissimilar from the NBA's investigation of the LA Clippers and Kawhi Leonard, where both struck deals with third parties to get around the salary cap. The CSC is looking into third-party deals that allow college football programs to skirt the rev share cap and rules.

Hannah Waddingham's Early Career Included A Role On Another Sports-Themed Show - TVLine

Hannah Waddingham is one of the most recognizable stars in the world right now, thanks largely to her breakout role as Rebecca Welton on the Apple TV hit "Ted Lasso. " Waddingham has brilliantly played Rebecca as her arc took her from A. F. C. Richmond owner trying to sabotage her own team, to a passionate defender and supporter of the club. While she'll likely always be connected to this soccer show (or football if you're anywhere that's not America), one of her earliest roles was on another well-received sports series. "Footballers' Wives" was a British drama about a soccer club, its players, and their wives. In a way, it was similar to "Ted Lasso," albeit without the Jason Sudeikis witticisms and with far more dramatic plot points. In Hannah Waddingham's lone appearance in the fourth season, she played Jools, a tennis player who was being represented by Hazel, the show's tough-talking agent. Season 4, Episode 9 marked Hazel's last appearance on the show, but she and Jools end up romantically involved with each other.
