RJ Barrett contributed a team-high 20 points (7-of-11 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, five assists and one steal over 23 minutes to lead the Raptors to a 114-106 win over the Clippers in Saturday’s preseason game.
Barrett, who paced Toronto’s 57-point first half effort with a team-high 15 points, remains a one-dimensional fantasy contributor and his scoring numbers figure to take a hit with the return of Kawhi Leonard, who will be the focal point of Toronto’s offense, when healthy. There will be enough volume during the moments when Leonard is unavailable for workload management reasons that he’ll offer some fantasy appeal in deeper formats.

Tanev (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, according to the NHL media site. After suffering an upper-body injury, Tanev left Saturday's 6-3 win over Colorado. He will miss at least the next three games, starting with Tuesday's matchup against Utah, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return. The Maple Leafs recalled Marshall Rifai from AHL Toronto on Sunday in a corresponding move.

Sacramento’s revamped rotation faces a crucial defensive test as two healthy wings return to provide the veteran playmaking and perimeter shooting needed to spark a bounce-back season.
York (upper body) is not available for Sunday's home divisional matchup against the Hurricanes, per Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer. York didn't suit up Saturday in Boston and is considered day-to-day, so his upper-body injury seemingly isn't too serious. Oliver Bonk is set to make his 2026-27 season debut due to York's absence. The 25-year-old York's next chance to get back into the lineup will be at home versus Seattle on Tuesday.

Jones, alongside Daniel Laatsch, was traded to Buffalo from Pittsburgh on Monday in exchange for Ryan Johnson. Jones is off to a productive start to the 2026-27 AHL season, and the Sabres took notice, bringing him in as a part of Monday's trade. The 29-year-old blueliner posted three assists, a plus-3 rating and five shots on net across four games with AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. He also appeared in seven games for the Penguins in 2025-26. While he'll likely spend the majority of the new season with AHL Rochester following the trade, there's a chance he could be called upon to make some appearances at the highest level this season, given his track record of playing in 255 NHL regular-season contests across his eight-year career.

Matt Legros, Seahawks Wiresam. 10 octobre 2026 à 9 h 27 p.m. UTCSeattle Seahawks star Jaxon Smith-Njigba has had a brilliant start to the 2026 season so far, but a quieter performance by his standards in Week 4 may have impacted his standing in the MVP race. CBS Sports ranked Smith-Njigba No. 8 overall in their latest MVP rankings and highlighted his historic pace as reason for him being in the top 10 through the early part of the year. “Like any non-quarterback, Smith-Njigba has little margin for error if he wants to be the first receiver to win league MVP,” CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo said. “That's the main reason why he fell five spots in this week's standings... Smith-Njigba fell from first to third in the NFL in receiving yards this week, but he is still leading the league in touchdown catches and remains on pace to break Calvin Johnson's single-season record.”Smith-Njigba has recorded 481 receiving yards and six REC touchdowns thus far this season. He has led the Seahawks to a 3-1 record on the year, including big wins over the New England Patriots in Week 1 and the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4.
