Our top tipster Lewis Jones, aka Jones Knows, provides his analysis and betting insight for Monday's Premier League game. Coventry City vs Newcastle United, Monday 8pm, live on Sky Sports Fixture difficulty and toughness of the schedule is always a key angle to consider when assessing teams at this time of the season. Coventry are the only team to have played the top three in the Premier League, losing 8-0 on aggregate in those matches. There could be mitigating circumstances to their poor start. We'll know more after this fixture. One area Frank Lampard's team will look to exploit is from set-pieces, where Bobby Thomas brings a massive threat to the table. The centre-back has had 10 shots in five games while Newcastle have shipped 31 shots conceded from set-pieces already this season - the most of any team. Thomas popped up with three goals for Coventry in their promotion season and will land for anytime goalscorer backers at some point soon. This might be the time to catch him at 8/1 with Sky Bet. SCORE PREDICTION: 1-1Jones Knows' best bets...

5 days agoGreig WatsonNottinghamSuppliedAlfie's problems started with a sore knee but spread to his fingers and jaw"We thought it was just growing pains but we knew there was something wrong when it stopped him playing football. "When Alfie, then aged seven, began to limp his parents, and initially his GP, believed it was a normal part of his childhood. But when the problem did not clear up, he underwent a series of tests, which diagnosed juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Now nine, Alfie is back playing his beloved sports but his mother, Laura, said: "It's a bit of an invisible disease and not many people know about it - so keep asking those questions. "The family, from Keyworth in Nottinghamshire, said the first symptoms were soreness in his legs. "We thought it was just a knock on the knee but it didn't go away," Laura said. "So we had lots of back to the hospital, to and fro and that's when they told us - and it was something we had never heard of.

What happens to sports kit that never gets worn? Figure caption, What happens to unworn sports kit? ByBBC Sport correspondentFor an elite athlete, pulling on Olympic kit can be the reward for years of sacrifice. But some of that clothing never makes it out of the packaging. Inside a warehouse on England's south coast, boxes are stacked with pristine Team GB clothing from Paris 2024 and Milan Cortina 2026. Tracksuit bottoms, jackets, hoodies and T-shirts sit untouched. Among them are garments created for Olympic opening ceremonies. All of it is unworn. Commercial constraints can make excess stock difficult to shift at scale. Now a new partnership means hundreds of items of surplus Team GB clothing and unsold merchandise will be resold through a specialist platform, with proceeds supporting the British Olympic Association's (BOA) charity arm, the Team GB Foundation. The initial launch will include 700 items from Paris 2024. It is one way of giving sportswear a second life. But why does that surplus exist, and why can perfectly usable clothing be so difficult to pass on? Why does sport have so much spare kit?

The world I live in is a cacophony of conflict. It is a landscape scarred by wars and proxy wars, punctuated by the deafening rhythm of violence, strikes, and protests. We have become so accustomed to the turmoil that we can smell the violence in the air. It is a metallic tang of fear that settles over our cities like smog. In this environment of intellectual suffocation, the space for nuance has vanished. We are trapped in a cycle of aggression where the loudest voices advocate for destruction, and hardly a whisper is spared for peace or non-violence. The traditional avenues for change have failed us. I have lost all hope in the hallowed halls of academia and among the pseudo-intellectuals who dominate our discourse. In the age of social media, the pursuit of truth has been replaced by the pursuit of algorithms. Our thinkers are preoccupied with high rankings and maximum views, their egos tethered to digital validation, rather than thinking deeply to uproot the disease of hatred. They offer band-aids of rhetoric to wounds that require surgery. In this vacuum of genuine leadership, the intellectual elite have become spectators to the very violence they claim to abhor.

Fantasy football analyst Justin Boone reveals his quarterback trade values.

Woll stopped 26 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes. The Flyers have been awful to start the season, and they were no match for the defending champions in this game. Woll has made four appearances so far, going 0-2-2 with 12 goals allowed on 140 shots. He's often been able to keep games close -- this was the first time in one of his outings the Flyers lost by multiple goals. Dan Vladar can't say the same, as Philadelphia has gotten outscored 16-2 in his games. The Flyers' next game is Tuesday at home versus the Kraken, but Woll is still a risky fantasy play even if he gets that start on a 16-game slate in the NHL.
