Insurance and guarantees made up 14% of concessional support, but projects still have to be able to pay their own way
Blended finance will not close the climate funding gap in emerging markets on credit enhancement alone, according to a new Moody’s Ratings report, which says deals scale only when projects progressively become commercially viable. Insurers appear on both sides of that equation, as providers of credit and political risk cover that makes deals investable and as buyers of the bonds that let them scale.

Cinched Waists and Freaky Shoes: The Vogue Business SS27 Global Buyer ReportOctober 14, 2026Photos: Vogue RunwayThousands of looks have gone down the runway over 440 fashion shows and presentations across fashion’s four capital cities during the Spring/Summer 2027 season — each made up of clothing and accessories for buyers to consider for the upcoming season. Some of these items will never go into production. Others are surefire sellouts. Skirts reigned supreme, with buyers expecting to see an abundance of Prada midi and Dries Van Noten poster print skirts on the racks — and the sidewalks — come next summer. Anthony Vaccarello’s gilded farewell collection for Saint Laurent is also a highly anticipated eveningwear bestseller. And, continuing their hot streak, Celine and Chanel have buyers excited about next season’s ready-to-wear and accessory sales. The SS27 shows also pointed to emerging trends for the year ahead. SAN FRANCISCO (KGO) -- DoorDash, UCSF and Freedom Debt Relief. What do they have in common? Scams. The Better Business Bureau is issuing a warning after receiving reports from consumers of scammers impersonating its employees. Scammers so convincing to victims, as they have information on recent orders, medical visits, and debt information. This is an attempt to steal money, more personal information, and gain access to online accounts. "These scams can be convincing because the caller may already know details about a recent transaction or account," said Alma Galvan, Regional Marketing and Communications Director. "Having some of your information does not prove the person contacting you is legitimate. "For example, the mother of a former patient at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital said she received a collection notice, saying she owed money. The date of the visit matched, but the account number did not. She contacted UCSF, and confirmed the account has already been paid off. The BBB also received reports from consumers of callers posing as employees from Freedom Debt Relief.
