Backstreet Boys fans upset after seats they bought for Toronto show turned out to be obstructed - CP24

Published: October 21, 2026 at 6:23a.m. EDTOne fan says she was shocked to find the tickets she bought were being sold cheaper as obstructed view seats after more dates were added. Pat Foran has more. The Backstreet Boys announced their Toronto residency in 2027, with 12 shows, and is expected to be one of the biggest concerts in the city. However, some fans who bought tickets to the first date feel they paid a premium price for seats, which now appear to be listed to have “obstructed views.”Lisa Parent, of Thunder Bay, told CTV News that as soon as she heard the band was having their “Into the Millennium – Homecoming” residency in Toronto, she knew she wanted to go. “I have been a fan since I was 11 years old, since 1996, when their single ‘Get Down’ was released,” said Parent. The concert series follows the band’s successful residency in Las Vegas. Parent and a group of friends purchased eight seats for the February 20 show. With fees, the concert tickets came to $5,530.

Olivia Colman swears like it’s going out of style in the enjoyably raunchy fantasy romcom Wicker - The Globe and Mail

Open this photo in gallery:Colman’s touch is so deft, that whenever she is off-screen the film feels noticeably flatter, writes Barry Hertz. KRISTOF GALGOCZI NEMETH/SuppliedWicker Directed by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor WilsonWritten by Alex Huston Fischer and Eleanor Wilson, based on the short story The Wicker Husband by Ursula WillsStarring Olivia Colman, Alexander Skarsgard and Peter DinklageClassification N/A; 105 minutesOpens in theatres Oct. 23Critic’s Pick God bless Olivia Colman’s filthy mouth. As displayed in her cuss-tastic work in The Favourite, Fleabag and the especially filthy Wicked Little Letters from a few years back, the British star has proven herself to be a top-tier vulgarian, able to make an everyday F-bomb feel like a profoundly atomic blast of pitch-perfect profanity. So it’s with great, [redacted] pleasure to report that Colman curses up another storm in Wicker, the new fantasy-comedy-romance-whatchamacallit that takes gleeful delight in flipping the bird. Set in vaguely medieval times, the film follows the generally awful residents of a generally horrible farming village where everyone is trying to make their neighbour more miserable than they are.
