To find penny buns in Enshrouded, you must take a foraging trip to a particular area. Chances are you've already been there but missed these small, brown mushrooms — if there's one crafting ingredient in Enshrouded that's easy to find but even easier to overlook, it's penny buns. Here's where to find penny buns in Enshrouded.

Penny buns spawn in the Springlands region, aka the starting region in Enshrouded. They only appear in the light forest areas, not in the enshrouded areas (unlike the much larger shroud mushrooms). While they spawn on every green hill around the Ancient Spire in the Springlands, a particularly good farming spot is found at the Harvest Homestead west of the Ancient Spire; you can loot the field for almost 20 penny buns in total.

Where to find shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded

Find the best shroud mushroom farming spot Shroud mushrooms are an important crafting resource in Enshrouded, but they're tricky to find. The key is to look up, not down; you won't yield any shroud mushrooms by collecting the cute colorful button mushrooms that spawn in any regular forest. Here's another hint: bring an axe. Here's how to recognize and where to find shroud mushrooms in Enshrouded.

After almost three years of early access, Enshrouded has hit 1.0 with a complete story, bigger map, and way too much more to mention

The increasing number of early access games always throws me off, because one day you're seeing an announcement of a game releasing, and then a while (normally years) later, you see another announcement for said game releasing. Feels like I'm in a constant Groundhog Day situation, probably not good for my sense of the passage of time. Anyway! Existentialism aside, after launching into early access almost three years ago, Enshrouded is now out in 1.0. Lots to get through with this release! For starters, the map is now completely finished, meaning you can explore all of what Emberval has to offer, with the main quest directing you towards the locales you won't have visited yet. Speaking of the story, that's all wrapped up too, "for now," anyway, so say developer Keen Games GmBH in the update's changelog (no word on when you can expect to see future story updates, but it certainly sounds like they're coming).

AI Cloning Threatens To End Public Playtests For Video Games

Moonlighter developer Digital Sun has announced a change of plans over a public beta for its forthcoming “tower defensevania” ReVamp, based on the recent spate of games being reverse-engineered and cloned using the latest version of Anthropic’s LLM, Claude Opus. What was once supposed to be a widely accessible playtest build via Steam is now going to be limited to a far smaller number of players through the company’s Discord. “So many of you signed up for ReVamp‘s first playtest on Steam (thank you!),” begins Digital Sun’s update posted to its X account, “but we’ve decided to start with something more contained on our Discord, with the public playtest coming a bit later.” Why? “We’ve been concerned by the recent news of games being reverse-engineered, cloned and published before the original is even out.” The issue is Claude Opus 5.5’s ability to decompile a game’s code and then recompile it back again in a way that would previously have taken determined coders months to years to achieve. And concerningly, it does a very good job of it, leading to the current rush of games being reverse-engineered and uploaded to be extremely playable on browsers.

The 10 Best Call of Duty Multiplayer Games

With 22 games in its mainline series and a 23rd inbound, Call of Duty is a well-oiled machine, arriving every year like a tactically placed care package to offer multiple modes for every type of player. Modern Warfare 4 refuses to break that trend, with a dedicated campaign, DMZ extraction mode, and the ever-present multiplayer. But how will Modern Warfare 4’s multiplayer stack up against what came before? What king does it need to topple to be declared the best in class? Let’s find out. These are the 10 best Call of Duty Multiplayer Games. 10. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023)Infinity Ward’s second game in its Modern Warfare reboot series proved divisive. A year later, Sledgehammer Games was given the difficult task of taking the bones of Modern Warfare 2 and reworking it to address fan feedback. It achieved that goal in spades. Unlike the campaign, which was universally disliked, Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer stood tall as the entry’s defining mode. Modern Warfare 2’s worst additions were removed. The snappy movement of 2019’s Modern Warfare returned, and the recharging perks were scrapped in favour of a gear system that mirrored the classic perk structure.
