Dubai’s police force maintains a special Luxury Tourist Patrol Fleet of police cars. In regular use, law enforcement gets around in various SUVs such as Toyota Land Cruisers and Nissan Patrols, but for both policing and polishing its public image, Dubai Police have a large fleet of fancy cars for tourists to see and photograph. Think about the Ferrari Testarossa that starred in Miami Vice, and then imagine if it had huge MIAMI POLICE stickers on it.

Over a decade ago, a Bugatti Veyron was added to the fleet, making it the fastest police car on the planet. The 250-mph (400-km/h) supercar does most of its work parked in tourist spots, despite its top-speed capabilities: the fleet has now been upgraded with a vehicle that has even more power and the capacity to float. That’s right, the force now has a nearly 1,200-horsepower Yangwang U8.

Dodge’s reborn Charger Sixpack swaps its V8 for a 550-horsepower straight-six. Can it win over the V8-loving crowd? - Toronto Star

Dodge provides multiple flavours of the Charger, including electric, gas, two-door, and four-door models. The aim of this job is to put myself in the mindset of the potential buyer of every car I get behind the wheel of. The 2026 Dodge Charger Sixpack makes this more difficult than any other vehicle I’ve driven this year. This is the latest evolution of Dodge’s reborn muscle car. It arrived first as an all-electric model — and was as well received by the V8-loving crowd as you’d expect — and the Sixpack brings internal combustion back under that long hood. There are only six cylinders now, and they’re arranged in a very Germanic straight line, but the numbers are impressive all the same. This Scat Pack model pumps the “Hurricane” engine up to a full 550 horsepower and 523 pound-feet of torque; not only is that better than the old 6.4-litre V8, it soundly trumps any non-supercharged Mustang. Heck, it even eclipses the figures of the mighty BMW M4, which also uses a 3.0-litre inline-six.
