If you’re a Hot Wheels nerd (and if you’re reading this, the odds are better than average), you already know just how detailed the castings can be on Mattel’s miniature cars and trucks. Well, the 2026 Hot Wheels Audi 90 Quattro takes that one step further with an easter egg that only the most dedicated (or perhaps just destructive) fans will ever spot.
The latest casting of the Audi 90 Quattro from the Pop Culture/Forza collection has the legendary “mooning doll” in the rear window that Hans-Joachim Stuck put in the real 1989 GTO. Each time he’d pass an opponent, he could make the doll’s pants drop. Hence, mooning doll.

Chevy Lied About The 430-HP Camaro ZL1 (And The Dyno Sheets Prove It)
Matt Nelson is an automotive journalist with nearly a decade of experience in all things cars. He's spent years working at dealerships in sales, finance, and service. He's since traded in his pens and wrenches for a keyboard, and leveraged the expertise gained from his work experience into a writing career. When it comes to cars, facts, and the truth, Matt’s equal love for all three meant automotive journalism was the only path forward. Ever since the age of six, when he’d spend his time helping his father fix his family’s old Buick, Matt has had a keen interest in anything and everything with four wheels. Naturally, once Matt started working, he ensconced himself in the automotive industry and held positions spanning from car detailer, mechanic, to automotive sales and finance. Because he’s seen it all, driven most, and heard a lot, auto journalism came naturally to him. With a passion for cars like Matt’s, it’s safe to say every article will showcase his penchant for truth, accuracy, and overarching desire to make sense of the modern, complex automotive world. Nissan Said 'No' To A 4-Door GT-R Sedan So You'd Buy An SUV Instead
Gerhard started his career in automotive journalism in 2010, after finishing degrees in Communication, English, and Politics, and diplomas in Film and Art Appreciation and Graphic Design. He's currently a senior editor with experience in local and global coverage, and more than 1,000 test cars driven. He started his career at CarBuzz in January 2021. Every so often a concept car arrives that feels less like a design exercise and more like a genuine promise — a glimpse of a future that seems not just possible, but inevitable. The Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge was exactly that kind of car. Shown to the world with a GT-R engine under its sculpted hood and F1 ambitions baked into every body panel, it looked like the vehicle that would finally force Europe's performance establishment to take a Japanese luxury brand seriously. It didn't make it. And more than a decade on, its cancellation still stings. Unveiled in 2014, the Eau Rouge was a performance sedan that looked ready to rival the best in the world. Eye-catching good looks, an advanced AWD system, aggressive chassis tuning, and plenty of other changes grabbed our attention.

Nissan Pathfinder Celebrates Its 1980s Roots, But The Next One Will Be Far More Retro
The Pathfinder turns 40 this year, and Nissan is celebrating with a version of the 2027 SUV that pays tribute to the original's utility. It gets some retro touches that reference the trail-hungry original, but if you really want a Pathfinder that remembers the spirit of the first one, you're going to love what's coming up in 2029. We'll get back to that later, but first let's deal with what Nissan dealers have in store for us this year. The 2027 Nissan Pathfinder Special Edition is at heart the same three-row SUV that debuted for 2022. But a two-tone black and burgundy interior inspired by the 1987 model's burgundy cloth upholstery is definitely exclusive to the anniversary SUV.

After Five Years, The Range Rover Is Getting An Update, But You Won't Notice The Differences
The full-sized Range Rover still looks very fresh in our eyes, but Land Rover is preparing a minor facelift for it, and new spy shots provide us with our most detailed look at the SUV to date. While it doesn't rock the design boat, we're sure customers will appreciate the small changes. It's almost been exactly five years since the current, fifth-generation Range Rover was unveiled, so it is due for a refresh. Unlike previous prototypes, this one snapped at the Nürburgring is free of any black plastic cladding across the front, revealing its grille and bumper for the first time. Unless you're a die-hard Range Rover aficionado, you probably won't notice any changes, but they are there.

Why I’m Trying To Convince My Wife To Buy The Toyota bZ4X, One Of The ‘Worst’ Modern EVs
My wife, a longtime Lexus fan, wants a bigger, newer car that’s electric, but there’s a problem: There are no 3-row EVs available from Toyota. So “larger” is going to have to wait; that means, if we want to go electric, we’ve got two “bad” choices: the Lexus RZ or the Toyota bZ4X. I’ve already written all about how we are considering going with the former, but now I’m pushing for the latter. Here’s why. The three-row EV SUV space is bleak. You can buy a tiny Model Y, you can snag a Kia/Hyundai, or you can spend lots of money on a Rivian, Cadillac, Mercedes or Lucid. Choices from Ford, Toyota, Stellantis, VW, and on and on are non-existent. This is a shame because there are lots of families who want extra space and who want to go electric; we’re one of them.
