After modders removed Skate's live service bits, devs draw the line with tools that "bypass our systems to unlock paid cosmetics"

EA and Full Circle - the developer behind the new early access Skate game (skate.) - don't have a problem with modders and "creativity from players," but they're drawing the line with mods that aim to unlock paid microtransactions and unreleased content. This comes just days after modding platform ReSkate blew up big time, reaching 350,000 downloads in mere hours. ReSkate essentially lets players experience the skating sim revival completely offline, unlike the online-only base game, with custom maps and cosmetics and servers.

The Most Terrifying Object In You Can See Everything Isn’t Elizabeth Holmes’ Unblinking Eyes, It’s A Bowl Of Eggs

Watching You Can See Everything in a semi-crowded theater was the most kinetic, interactive experience I’ve ever had watching a simple movie…and I’ve been to a Rocky Horror Picture Show screening, crowd participation and all. I gasped, exclaimed, and clawed at my husband as we turned inside out in our seats, both riveted and repulsed by what we were seeing on screen. Is it the movie of the year? Definitely. Does it accomplish what it attempts? Maybe. Maybe not. In You Can See Everything, Elizabeth Holmes, convicted of defrauding investors of her health tech company Theranos, has 34 days before she must report to prison to serve her 11-year sentence. Naturally, as one does when facing down a decade behind bars, Holmes invited a documentary crew led by Nathan “Nathan for You” Fielder and director Lance Oppenheimer to observe her final days with her two young children and her partner Billy Evans, heir to the Evans Hotels business. Remember that name, it’ll come up later. Matter of fact, let’s bring him up fucking now.

"I was a real anglophile": A Canadian's obsession with Viz magazine is why Grand Theft Auto: London's streets are covered in dogs' eggs

Sadly, there are no vibrating bum-faced goats The Grand Theft Auto games have a long history of being made by developers who live far from their source material. The original game and its mainline sequels have all been led by Rockstar North, housed in a decidedly not US-based Edinburgh. But, even when it came to a comparatively local GTA mission pack set in London, the team chose instead to ask their newly acquired Canadian team to handle the development work. It didn't matter that only a few people on the team had actually been to London before.

Saros Gets Boss Rush And Tons Of Difficulty Options With Zenith Update

Saros is a phenomenal sci-fi shooter, and it currently stands as my favorite game of 2026. If you've been waiting for the right time to play it--or to play it again--then developer Housemarque has some good news. The new Zenith update is now available for free, adding a boss rush and difficulty options that should appeal to both newcomers and seasoned veterans. First up, the boss rush. Dubbed "Overlord Rush," the mode comes with its own dedicated leaderboards and tasks you with taking out a series of the game's bosses. Rather than starting on the first boss and fighting uninterrupted to the very end, they're divided into separate "sets" that each contain three fights. Overlord Rush is available via the Primary robot in the main hub area. https://youtu.be/X3SsUZ1SFy4 The new settings and difficulty modifiers, meanwhile, allow you to both reduce and increase the game's challenge, customizing it to fit your preferences. The "Slow Game Speed" setting lets you slow down the entire game so you have more time to react to projectiles, and you can tweak exactly how much it slows down and even if you want it to turn on automatically when combat starts. An "Auto-fire" setting also eliminates

Star Wars: Galactic Racer’s Biddy Blas Is Voiced By A Sinister Circus Ringmaster Pro Wrestler, And This Makes Sense

Star Wars has had no shortage of breakout alien stars over the decades--from Chewbacca in the original trilogy to Grogu from The Mandalorian--but in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, that honor belongs to Biddy Blas. Who is Biddy Blas? A hotshot racer in the game, with an ego the size of a Death Star and a voice that sounds like a TIE Fighter fueled by nightmares— that's who Biddy Blas is. And in real life, the man behind the voice is none other than indie UK wrestler and actor Richard Summers-Calvert, who is down to "scrib doon" some autographs from fans. Performing under the name "The Spectacular Tw*t" Charles Crowley, Summers-Calvert has popped up in multiple pro wrestling promotions, including a recent appearance in Ring of Honor. The actor and wrestler says he's been humbled by Biddy Blas's popularity since he was introduced in Star Wars: Galactic Racer. "I could tell Biddy Blas was gonna be popular early on," Summers-Calvert said to Soundsphere . "Then I woke up the next day and he'd blown up a bit, and then the next day it kind of dawned on me that this isn’t normal." https://www.instagram.com/p/DemxqBbp7DO/ Since then, Summers-Calvert says he has received a ton of messages, mentio
