DOLTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A Dolton homeowner is calling for additional traffic safety measures after two separate vehicle crashes damaged her property over the past four years, leaving her concerned about the safety of her family and neighbors. Michelle Taylor, who moved into her south suburban home in 2019, said two vehicles have driven into her property since she became a homeowner. According to Taylor, the crashes damaged her vehicles, her home and a neighboring home. ABC7 Chicago is now streaming 24/7. "But like having to deal with this every day not knowing if somebody's going to run into your house, it's mentally challenging and demanding, you know. And so, each time I hear a noise I'm wondering if it's going to be something outside, or you know someone hurt. And so, I just really want them to make a difference," Taylor said. Taylor said neighbors told her previous owners of the property experienced similar problems.
