Delightful. In a video released on the Subnautica YouTube channel, creative director Anthony Gallegos said the new update features multiple new biomes within the spooky region, and includes story additions, new Leviathan behaviors, and a Frog chassis for the tadpole submersible. In short, it's a pilotable mech.
