“Saved by the Bell” actress recalls last time she saw late costar Dennis Haskins in sweet tribute - Yahoo

Key PointsSaved by the Bell actress Leanna Creel remembered Dennis Haskins, who played Mr. Belding, following his death. The actress portrayed Tori Scott on the final season of the teen comedy. Creel is only the latest Bayside High School Tiger to share kind remembrances of Haskins. Leanna Creel, who played Tori on the final season of Saved by the Bell, is remembering the late Dennis Haskins, who died Sept. 27, after a struggle with Parkinson's disease. "Dennis!! You were always ready with a warm hug and smile!," Creel captioned several images of him — photos of the two recently, of Creel's sons at a SBTB event, and of the cast from the last installment of the original series. She continued, "I joined Bayside Season 5, with realistic storylines like 'Tori' delivering Mr. Belding's baby … in an elevator …during an earthquake! A few years ago, I got to bring my boys to a SBTB pop up where they had fun playing with the props. It was the last time I saw Dennis. Being kind, in the end, is the only thing that matters. May his memory be a blessing.

Here's how to watch Andrew Scott's thirst-inducing performance in 'It Gets Worse' - Mashable

Early in September, Channel 4 released an NSFW clip from its upcoming comedy It Gets Worse that set the internet ablaze. In the clip, series creator Leo Reich plays Ethan, an unsure 24-year-old who hooks up with a therapist (Andrew Scott). Scott's therapist tells Ethan, "You're just a hole for daddy," before spitting in his mouth, reigniting every Fleabag viewer's Hot Priest thirst in the process. Immediately, the internet wanted to know: How could they watch more? Where is It Gets Worse streaming, and when is it coming out? It Gets Worse is set to premiere on Channel 4 in the UK on Oct. 14, coinciding with its premiere at the BFI London Film Festival. American audiences will have to wait a bit longer to catch it, as It Gets Worse hits Paramount+ Nov. 6.

Why the Flying Mile? Inside the PwC Tremblant World Cup Course - Coupe du monde Tremblant PwC

From the steep pitches at the top to the final push toward the finish, the Flying Mile asks athletes to adapt throughout their run. Its combination of technical terrain, speed and a finish surrounded by spectators makes it a natural stage for World Cup giant slalom racing. Let’s Break Down the Flying MileA giant slalom run on the Flying Mile is not the same from top to bottom. The terrain changes along the way, and each section brings its own challenge. For the athletes, the key is knowing when to attack, when to preserve speed and when to give it everything on the way to the finish. The Top: Precision Comes FirstThe race begins on some of the most demanding terrain of the Flying Mile. The upper pitches are steep and technical, with changes in angle that require athletes to be precise with their line and timing through the gates. A small mistake can quickly cost speed, making clean turns and control essential from the very first gates. The challenge is also about setting up the rest of the run. Athletes need to attack the steep section while building enough speed and momentum to carry into the flatter terrain below.

Reunion Over: Giants Reportedly Releasing Odell Beckham Jr. - FOX Sports

Monday, the New York Giants lost star linebacker Brian Burns for the year due to a torn ACL and acquired quarterback J. J. McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings. Now, they're saying "goodbye" to a former franchise star. The New York Giants are releasing wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, NFL Media reported on Tuesday afternoon. Beckham, who returned to the Giants on a one-year deal after playing the first five years of his NFL career with the team from 2014-18, appeared in each of New York's first three games this season but didn't record a reception. He logged just one target. With Beckham gone, New York has just three wide receivers on its active roster: third-year star Malik Nabers, veteran Darnell Mooney and rookie Malachi Fields. Of course, the Giants will be without starting quarterback Jaxson Dart for the rest of the season due to a knee injury, with Jameis Winston serving as the team's starter and McCarthy, a 2024 first-round pick, likely his backup. New York is 2-1, with its Week 4 game being a home matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Mission Success! Celebrating Landsat 9’s Five-Year Design Life Milestone - NASA Science (.gov)

NASA’s Landsat 9 mission completed its five-year design life on Sunday, September 27, 2026. This critical mission milestone — 54 years after the Landsat 1 mission launch — is a reminder of the enduring success of the Landsat program and its role in providing the longest continuous, space-based record of Earth’s surface. As with all past missions, Landsat 9's data are essential for studying change over time to better understand our planet and make informed decisions about Earth’s resources and environment. The Landsat 9 mission is a joint partnership between NASA and the U. S. Geological Survey (USGS). NASA built and launched the satellite into orbit on September 27, 2021, then put the satellite through 10 months of extreme calibration, validation, and maneuvering tests to ensure that its instruments operated as planned while in orbit. Once this on-orbit checkout was completed, the USGS took over day-to-day operations and data management. Landsat 9 is also the first Landsat mission of the NASA/USGS Sustainable Land Imaging (SLI) Program, which was established to bring stability and predictability to spaceborne U. S. land imaging.
