En prévision d'une entrevue avec l'agent Marc-Olivier Deng, ils discutent aussi de l'effet domino attendu sur le contrat de Cutter Gauthier et se félicitent que le Canadien ait déjà verrouillé son noyau à long terme.
The Rams are 32nd in the NFL in special teams expected points added
Of all the wild moments in the Bills' 37-34 win over the Rams, the one that set up Buffalo's win -- and maybe the worst decision of the night -- was Sean McVay deciding to run the ball on a third-and-5 at the Bills' 30-yard line in overtime and settle for a 48-yard field goal attempt. The attempt got blocked, the Bills scored on their ensuing possession, and the game was over. The preseason Super Bowl favorites -- the dream team that has already had three nightmare losses -- are 2-3. Now ask yourself, would you rather trust the right arm of 2025 MVP Matthew Stafford, who ran red-hot all of the second half and overtime, to gain 5 yards or the right leg of Harrison Mevis to make a kick from 48 yards? Oh, and by the way ... Mevis entered that kick 3-for-7 in his career from 43+ yards away, compared to 100% from 42 or closer;Mevis had missed a 50-yarder earlier in the game;More than anything else, the Rams' special teams have proved untrustworthy again and again. This was a coaching failure on McVay's part. The Rams have Stafford, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.

Hart stopped 24 of 27 shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Wild. Minnesota's fourth goal was an empty-netter late in the third period. Hart endured a difficult opening period, allowing goals to Matt Boldy, Maxim Shabanov and Danila Yurov within a 5:07 span. The veteran netminder settled down afterward, keeping Minnesota off the scoreboard for the rest of his appearance, but the damage was already done, and the Wild clinched the victory with an empty-netter from Joel Eriksson Ek. This was Hart's second loss of the season, and the second time in five starts he's allowed more than two goals. The netminder is likely to be on the bench against the Predators on Tuesday in the second leg of a back-to-back set, but he could return to the starting lineup against the Flames on Thursday.

It’s been a weird start to the NFL season. Nobody could have predicted the Vikings and Giants would be among the teams with the best records. And few would’ve thought the Texans and Chargers would be down near the bottom. There’s a long way to go, of course, but there are at least some certain truths that are beginning to emerge about 2026. And the biggest might be this:The NFC West is still really, really good. How good? You'll find out in my Week 6 power rankings. *Super Bowl odds courtesy of DraftKingsSuper Bowl odds: +100000 (tied for 31st-best)I actually felt a little bad dropping the Titans to the bottom last week, considering they had almost beaten the Eagles and the Giants. But then they went out and proved I was right. I know the Texans have a tough defense, but if you’re the Titans, you have to at least show up against 0-4 teams. Right now, they look like a team that should be very worried. QB Cam Ward has too many weapons around him to be as bad as he’s been. They should be more competitive than they currently are. But right now, they’re only competitive for the No. 1 pick in the 2027 draft, where they’re going to have to think long and hard about taking a QB … again.

Anunoby totaled 15 points (4-8 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three steals, two rebounds and one assist over 22 minutes in Monday's 122-104 preseason loss to Minnesota. He won't play Tuesday against Toronto for rest purposes, Stefan Bondy of The New York Post reports. Anunoby put forth a solid scoring effort, fueled by perfection at the charity stripe, while also matching a game high with three steals in the loss. The veteran wing has scored in double figures in each of his three preseason appearances, but he'll be inactive for the second half of the back-to-back set Tuesday at Toronto. Anunoby's next chance to suit up will come Thursday, also against the Raptors.
