Like Day and Night: the Two New World Champ Bikes Take Opposite Approaches to the Rainbow Stripes - Outside Magazine

Published October 3, 2026 06:11AMIt’s been just under a week since the 2026 UCI Road World Championships, and the paint shops at Colnago and Specialized have been hard at work. To celebrate the two new elite world champions, Brandon McNulty and Demi Vollering, the champions’ bike sponsors have been hard at work to deliver them two unique liveries for the next year of racing. Interestingly, despite the two design teams working from the classic black, white, and rainbow color scheme, the two iconic brands have created dramatically different designs.

What Happened To The Cast Of The Original A Different World? - TVLine

"A Different World" was supposed to be a spin-off of "The Cosby Show," but life, and star Lisa Bonet, had other plans. It was meant to be a sitcom about Denise Huxtable's (Bonet) experience attending an HBCU and dealing with issues the family-friendly "The Cosby Show" wouldn't touch. The same year the show started, Bonet and Lenny Kravitz went to Las Vegas and got married; a year later, she was pregnant. Executive producer Bill Cosby, then perceived as a paragon of family values, insisted that Denise couldn't be a single mom. Bonet left after a single season, in one of the 15 most controversial TV exits ever, just as Debbie Allen was brought on as a new producer to make the Black college setting more accurate, and the show more ensemble-based. Spoiled Southern belle Whitley (Jasmine Guy), who had been more of an antagonist in season 1, became the new primary protagonist and mellowed throughout the remaining five seasons. "A Different World" ultimately became one of the best spinoff shows ever.

There's history, there are payroll narratives and there's the dream of a Junior Caminero vs. Jacob Misiorowski at-bat The 2026 MLB postseason is underway and the Wild Card Series round is already complete. Three of the four Wild Card Series were sweeps and the home team won three of the four series. From 2022-25, only seven home teams won the Wild Card Series. The best-of-five Division Series gets underway this weekend. Here are the matchups:   There are eight teams still standing, which equals 16 possible World Series matchups. A rematch of last year's World Series (Blue Jays vs. Dodgers) is not among them. There has not been a World Series rematch since the Dodgers and Yankees squared off in 1977 and 1978. Anyway, there are 16 possible World Series matchups and none of them are bad! Each and every one is exciting in its own way, but some are more compelling than others. Sometimes there's history (recent or otherwise), sometimes new players have joined the mix, and so on.
