Can Generac Turn C&I Business Momentum Into a Durable Revenue Engine? - TradingView

Generac Holdings Inc. GNRC is becoming a major supplier of power-generation equipment for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers, particularly the rapidly expanding data center market. In the second quarter, C&I sales jumped 29% year over year to $556.5 million, driven by ramping revenues from products sold into the global data center market. C&I adjusted EBITDA margin expanded to 14.6% from 12.4% in the prior-year quarter, led by tariff refunds and operating discipline, partly offset by unfavorable mix and growth investments. Following its second-quarter performance, management projected low-30% C&I sales growth for 2026 compared with its earlier mid-to-high-20% expectation. The driving force behind Generac's C&I acceleration is the data center industry. AI infrastructure is driving extraordinary demand for electricity and backup power. Data centers cannot tolerate prolonged power interruptions, making large-scale standby generation an increasingly critical component of infrastructure planning. Generac is benefiting directly from this trend.

Does The Harvard Business Review Understand Why The Honda Super Cub Is So Special? - RideApart.com

When examining history, both good and bad, it's often difficult to tease out the precise details you want to share. What do you leave in? What do you take out? What details and minutiae do you list in depth, and what do you gloss over because you don't think they're important, or you're concerned about derailing the story you want to tell? And that's only considering the facts, and not any sort of spin you want to put on them when you're telling the story you want to tell.

Elon Musk’s ex-wife says he is someone who ‘thrives on chaos’ - Business Insider

Justine Musk said her former husband "thrives on chaos" and that "everything is life and death" in his narrative. For Elon Musk, chaos may be more than a management style: His ex-wife says it’s where he feels comfortable. Justine Musk described the billionaire’s appetite for intensity in a teaser posted Tuesday for Kara Swisher’s interview with her and filmmaker Alex Gibney ahead of the release of Gibney’s documentary “MUSK.”“I once described him as somebody who can, like, jump off the edge of a cliff and, you know, invent a parachute on the way down,” Justine Musk told Swisher about her ex-husband, “Like, I think he thrives on chaos.”Justine Musk, an author and the mother of Vivian Jenna Wilson, said the Tesla CEO's language often casts challenges as existential emergencies, with an element of performance. “Everything is life and death,” she said. “And I think he really lives like that. He really lives with that pitch of intensity.”That description echoes inside Elon Musk's companies. At xAI, current and former employees told Business Insider that Musk’s growing involvement led to abrupt shifts in priorities, intensive “war rooms,” and a group chat of more than 300 engineers.

Developers are burned out, disengaged, and facing an AI-powered reset, a survey of 30,000 workers found - Business Insider

Developers are embracing AI coding, but many feel exhausted, obsolete, and unable to trust it. The people building the AI boom are running on empty. According to Stack Overflow's 2026 Developer Survey, released Tuesday, nearly half of 30,903 developers surveyed in 169 countries reported being complacent in their current jobs, while a third were unhappy, and just over 22% were happy. Among the complacent group, burnout or tech fatigue was the leading reason, cited by 21% of respondents. The findings come amid an environment where software engineers' jobs are changing at breakneck speed. AI coding has taken over a greater share of their daily work — reducing some developers to button-pushers and human meat proxies, contributing to an identity crisis among some engineers, and fueling "off-the-charts" anxiety among tech workers. The malaise comes alongside a major shift in how software gets made. Stack Overflow found that almost two-thirds of respondents use AI coding assistants or agents, while 62% use general-purpose AI chat tools. Among daily AI users, 31% said they use them for four hours or more.
