Originating in 1980s Brazil, baile funk began as a bass-heavy blend of syncopated folk rhythms and hip-hop-influenced sampling, and has since developed into regional styles ranging from the hyperpop freneticism of D. Silvestre to DJ K’s eerie and cacophonous bruxaria and the house-sampling sound of MC Lan. Coming together by sharing baile funk edits on SoundCloud, producers JLZ, VHOOR, Mu540 and DJ RaMeMes began releasing their own version in 2017 as Weird Baile. Now compiling two decades of their lo-fi productions as Collected Rips 2004-2024, Weird Baile establish their sound as a curious blend of Brazilian and British dancefloors. Weird Baile Collected rips 2004-2024 album artworkSparse, harsh and artfully arranged, the Weird Baile signature strips baile funk down to its essentials: vocals, bass and rhythm. Opener Aquecimento Do Ih Caraca embodies this ethos with its industrial sub-bass, chopped-up shouted vocals and percussive beatboxing, producing two minutes of menacing intensity.

Comedian Rips Into Ed Sheeran: 'Red-Headed Puppet With A Hand Up His Ass' - HuffPost
Amelia Dimoldenberg, comedian and host of a British YouTube interview show, told a scathing joke about Ed Sheeran and his recent controversy regarding his refusal to stand up to billionaire Robert Kraft. During Dimoldenberg’s “Saturday Night Live UK” monologue on Saturday, the comedian reflected on her time as host of “Chicken Shop Date,” the show she created where she takes celebrities on dates to a chicken shop. “I’m incredibly privileged to have done so many interviews with people like Idris Elba, Cher and even the world famous red-headed puppet with a hand up his ass telling him what to say,” Dimoldenberg said during her monologue, while a photo of her and Elmo was projected on the screen. The photo of Elmo quickly switched to a photo of Dimoldenberg and Sheeran. Dimoldenberg said, “No, the other one.”The audience erupted in laughter. The jokes comes after Sheeran found himself drowning in controversy after his tour promoter kicked Macklemore off Sheeran’s tour after Macklemore said “free Palestine” during his set.

The standard 1.22 × 2.44-meter sheets are combined with 76 cm cut sections to maximize material efficiency while maintaining surface continuity. The panels are attached using double-sided tape and silicone to a light-gauge metal stud-and-track framing system supported by an interior wooden sub-structure fixed to the original PTR steel frame. To preserve the illusion of a monolithic volume, a single access portal is positioned discreetly on the less prominent west face.
