Tyler Reddick won his sixth race of the season and his first in six months at Phoenix Raceway, keeping his championship hopes alive with a 61-point day. Reddick started the season with a three-race streak and then went five for nine, with his last win coming at Kansas Speedway on April 19th. A once-championship favorite that fell out of conversation as other drivers stacked wins and points through the summer and first half of the playoffs. His win halved his points deficit to the leader; he entered 114 points behind Kyle Larson and, with Larson’s no-points day, finished 56 points back. Larson’s lack of pace, followed by a tire failure and a DNF, means that every driver in contention for the championship behind them just saw the door crack open. Denny Hamlin entered Phoenix second in the championship, and 49 points behind; now Joey Logano is just 44 points behind Larson and sixth in the standings. Reddick restarted fourth on the final restart with 23 laps to go, becoming the first driver to pit for right-side scuffs, with Chase Briscoe, Chase Elliott, and Ty Gibbs ahead on 10- to 14-lap-old tires.

Tyler Reddick wins in Phoenix as NASCAR Cup Series championship tightens after miserable day for Kyle Larson

AVONDALE, Ariz. — Tyler Reddick had a late surge on Sunday to earn his sixth win of the season in a NASCAR playoff race at Phoenix Raceway, rising up the Cup Series standings to give himself a shot at the championship. He’s not the only one who benefited from Kyle Larson’s very, very bad day. Reddick, Christopher Bell and Chase Briscoe were among the drivers who are leaving the desert in much better position to win a title than when they a rrived. Reddick’s No. 45 Toyota overtook Briscoe with 17 laps remaining and held on for the win, shaking up NASCAR’s postseason with three races remaining. “This group never lost motivation, never lost the drive to keep searching and keep trying to find ways to make ourselves better, just be an all-around better team,” Reddick said. “Something about today... I had a really good feeling.”Larson — who started Sunday with a 49-point lead in the Cup Series standings — is now just five points ahead of Christopher Bell heading into Talladega next week. Briscoe is in third, 24 points back, while Denny Hamlin (31), Ryan Blaney (40), Joey Logano (44), and Reddick (56) are still in the hunt.

This GM Plant Might Be Headed For An 18-Month Production Hiatus

Classic gems, tasteful customs, legendary supercars - for Silvian, they're all fair game. He's been in love with cars and motorcycles for as long as he can remember, so it made perfect sense to eventually turn that passion into a full-time writing career. Around six years and more than 3,000 articles later, he is still going strong and doesn't plan on hitting the brakes anytime soon. About a year ago, General Motors said it will be axing the current Cadillac CT5 after 2026, and production is scheduled to end in December. That said, the CT5 will be returning in about two years as a 2029 model, but the timeline leaves us with some important questions regarding one of GM’s production facilities. We’re referring to the Lansing Grand River plant up in Michigan, whose future seems very uncertain until CT5 production resumes. The factory might be on its way toward an extended pause while the next Cadillac luxury sedan is being developed, as GM hasn’t clarified its plans in that regard.

Remember the subprime mortgage crisis that ultimately resulted in the global financial meltdown of 2008? Bad loans, sketchy financial instruments, and defaults from high-risk borrowers plunged the world into the worst economic downturn since The Great Depression. Lessons were learned and measures have been taken to make sure something like that never happens again – right? So you’d think, but there’s a reason why we’re bringing up the GFC and it most certainly isn’t good. A Reuters report recently brought some chilling details to light about the current state and trajectory of auto loans in America. Many parallels can be drawn between where said market stands right now and the factors leading to the housing crash nearly two decades ago, which is rather concerning to say the least.

Musk Wants The New Tesla Roadster To Go Over 380 MPH

Classic gems, tasteful customs, legendary supercars - for Silvian, they're all fair game. Around six years and more than 3,000 articles later, he is still going strong and doesn't plan on hitting the brakes anytime soon. Regardless of your opinion on Tesla or its eccentric founder Elon Musk, there’s no denying that the Roadster’s recent reveal was absolutely wild. That thing just drove upside down, flew over a Semi and other Teslas while doing a barrel roll, and launched itself from zero to 60 mph in a single second. Call them gimmicks if you will, but the new Roadster basically broke the internet after its long-awaited official debut. And if there’s one thing Musk is more proficient at than anyone else, that would be his unmatched ability to get people talking even if it comes at the expense of overly ambitious or downright preposterous claims.
