9 Classic Plymouth Models And What They're Worth Today
Hopefully you haven't been in a coma for the last 25 years, because you'd be shocked to know that the once-great Plymouth has been dead since the turn of the century. Even more depressing is that the end of this storied brand was pretty ugly. In the 1990s, the vast majority of Plymouth's lineup consisted of badge-engineered versions of various Japanese cars or leftover Dodge products, and it was still only able to muster up about half of Dodge's sales. At the very end, the retro-modern-styled Prowler was the brand's only true Plymouth-designed model. When it was finally put on the chopping block in 1999, Plymouth was simply not a part of Chrysler's future plans. Done and dusted. But nobody really cares that Plymouth went out at a low point — it's not like we judge Michael Jordan's career based on his final seasons with the Washington Wizards, right? Right.

1979 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am For Sale With 21,956 Miles Shown Has The Right Hood, But What About The Price?
Depending on how old you are, the Pontiac Firebird Trans Am nameplate occupies very different pop culture spaces. If you're a child of the '70s, the Screaming Chicken decorated the hero car of "Smokey and the Bandit;" if you grew up in the '80s, it could talk and was named KITT; and if you were born a bit later, you may know it as the '80s muscle car in which Dwight Schrute pulled up to Dunder Mifflin every morning. The 1979 Trans Am definitely appeals to those on the older end of that spectrum, and Streetside Classics is offering up one with just 21,956 miles on the odometer and the hood decal you want. It's being sold out of Nashville, Tennessee, finished in Cameo White, and it features its presumably original 185-horsepower 403-cubic-inch V8, a three-speed TH350 automatic transmission, and power steering. Brakes are discs up front but drums in the back.

These Subaru Models Are Built In America, Not Japan
Even though Subaru is a Japanese company, many models are built in the United States Subaru is one of Japan's automotive juggernauts. Established in 1953, it revealed its first model, the 1500, the following year and launched the mass-market 360 in 1958. The company is as Japanese as origami and cherry blossoms, but that doesn't mean it only builds cars in Japan. In fact, Subaru also manufactures vehicles right here in the United States.

Why Some Drivers Did or Did Not Exclude Themselves From NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver
It’s been 36 years since a NASCAR driver without the last name Earnhardt or Elliott has won Most Popular Driver. Talladega, Chase Elliott removes himself from contention so Kyle Busch can win. Elliott has held the spot for seven seasons, winning every year since Dale Earnhardt Jr. retired from the NASCAR Cup Series. Earnhardt won it every year since Chase’s father, Bill Elliott, retired in 2002. The elder Elliott won it every year from 1991 to 2002, except in 2001. In 2001, following the shocking death of Dale Earnhardt Sr. on the last lap of the Daytona 500, Elliott removed himself from contention out of respect. This year, his son did the same, taking his name off the docket so Kyle Busch could win posthumously. The NASCAR community tragically lost Busch in the spring, the Thursday before the Coke 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, to sepsis. Ever polarizing and often hated by fans of his competitors, Busch was never the most popular driver. But in losing him and mourning him, the NASCAR community has come together, with begrudging respect, to see the importance of his legacy. “When Dale passed in the early 2000s, dad removed his name,” Elliott said.

Who's At Fault When Software Glitches Cause A Car Accident?
We're increasingly living in an era when flawed code is causing cars to break. That's according to an analysis by the group Recall Masters' May, 2026 report. Last year the National Highway Transportation Association (NHTSA) issued a stunning 8 million recalls involving faulty electronics. Many were related to buggy back-up cameras, misfiring driver assistance systems and blipping instrument clusters. We don't know exactly how many fewer bricked cars this would amount to if it weren't for Ford's many recalls delaying dealer fixes, but that's a different headache. Actually, maybe it's related. Because if any not-yet-repaired software-blipping car harmed the driver, passenger, a pedestrian or anyone else outside the vehicle, we wanted to know who'd be responsible. Is it the driver? What about the shop that made the last software patch? And, naturally, how about the car's manufacturer?

Bold Body Kit, Sneaker Interior, BMX Soul: Custom Acura ADX Is Ready For X Games
Classic gems, tasteful customs, legendary supercars - for Silvian, they're all fair game. He's been in love with cars and motorcycles for as long as he can remember, so it made perfect sense to eventually turn that passion into a full-time writing career. Around six years and more than 3,000 articles later, he is still going strong and doesn't plan on hitting the brakes anytime soon. Sponsored by Vans, Coco Zurita is one of the world’s top BMX athletes with multiple X Games podiums to his name. But Zurita is also a bit of a car nut, and he recently teamed up with Acura for the rad one-off ADX project we’re about to inspect. It is the sportsman’s third official collaboration with Honda’s luxury division, having previously worked side-by-side with the brand on a custom 2023 Integra and a 2024 TLX Type S.
