PARIS (AP) — Elina Svitolina announced Monday the end of her marriage with fellow tennis player Gael Monfils. The sixth-ranked Ukrainian said in an Instagram post it is “the most difficult thing I have ever had to share.”Svitolina spoke about the tough emotional impact the war in her country had on her well-being, and how Monfils supported her to cope with the struggle when she took a break from tennis to recover. “But some battles happen deep inside you, and no amount of love from someone else can win them for you,” she wrote. “With time, I came to understand that I need to find my way back to myself and that I cannot do that within our marriage.”Monfils and Svitolina have a daughter together. “Together, we built a beautiful life, and we were given the most precious gift of all, our daughter, Skai,” Svitolina said. “Skai will always come first. Our marriage is ending, but our family is not. We will always be her parents, side by side, at every step of her life.”The end of their marriage might have played a role in Monfils’ decision to end his career a little earlier than what was expected.

NFL Week 6 Winners and Losers: The Ravens’ Bad Habits Haunt Them Again - Sports Illustrated

Divisional upsets defined Week 6 of the NFL season, with the Browns upsetting the Ravens, the Cardinals knocking off the Rams, the Titans earning their first win over the Colts and the Texans beating the Jaguars in London. In the case of the Ravens and Colts, they not only lost, they blew double-digit leads to their rivals, with Baltimore falling 13–10 to Cleveland after failing to score a single point in the second half and close out a game once again. “That’s the type of game where [in] all three phases, you have chances to create more separation in the game with where the score was at and we weren’t able to do that really from our own self-inflicted things,” Ravens coach Jesse Minter said after the loss. Starting with Baltimore, here are this week’s winners and losers. Loser: The Ravens blow a divisional matchupAfter the Ravens came back to force overtime and defeat the Falcons on Sunday Night Football last week, All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton notably said, “That’s a game that we’ve lost many times, whether it’s some fluky stuff happening. …
