Xbox mandates a four-day return to office - The Verge

Tom Warren is a senior correspondent and author of Notepad, who has been covering all things Microsoft, PC, and tech for over 20 years. Microsoft asked its employees to return to the office three days per week last year, and it’s now upping this requirement to four days a week for most Xbox employees. An internal memo, seen by The Verge, describes the change as a “need to create more opportunities for people to work together” after feedback from Xbox employees. “Starting February 1st, 2027, Xbox employees in Puget Sound who live within 50 commuting miles of Studio D are required to work from the office a minimum of four days a week,” says Jacinda Chislum Pearson, Xbox chief people officer, in the internal memo. “We have thousands of Xbox employees within commuting distance of Redmond.

Poll shows citizens back multiple vehicle technologies over EU mandates - CLEPA | European Association of Automotive Suppliers

Citizens’ preferred option (47%) is to incentivise low and zero-emission vehicles over a technology banOnly 8% of consumers plan to buy a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) as their next carThe average consumer surveyed rejects an automotive technology ban, is considering a range of powertrain options for their next vehicle, and sees further preparation as necessary for full electrification. These are the core findings from a new YouGov poll of citizens across five major markets (France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and Spain; together more than 70% of the EU automotive market). For policymakers, the upcoming review of CO2 standards for cars and vans presents a critical opportunity to enable a wider set of drivetrain technologies and truly align the pace of climate policies with citizen expectations and their perception of the state of readiness of their country. Based on a representative sample of 5,221 adults (c. 1000 in each country), the YouGov survey commissioned by CLEPA reveals a striking hesitation toward a one-size-fits-all future: taking the average across the 5 markets, only 8% of citizens intend to purchase a battery-electric vehicle (BEV) as their next car*.

CROWN: ctDNA Analyses Help Predict Early Progression With First-Line Lorlatinib in ALK+ NSCLC - OncLive

News|Articles|October 24, 2026 Baseline and on-treatment circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) features, including TP53 mutations and methylation-based tumor fraction, were associated with early progression or prolonged progression-free survival (PFS) with first-line lorlatinib (Lorbrena) in patients with ALK-positive advanced non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), in exploratory analyses of the phase 3 CROWN trial (NCT03052608) presented at the 2026 European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress.1Compared with long-term responders, who were progression free at 84 months (n = 30), early progressors, who had a PFS event within 12 months (n = 22), had a higher median number of altered genes at baseline (10 vs 6), a higher median blood-based tumor mutation burden (7.7 vs 5.1), and more frequent TP53 mutations (50% vs 17%). In the lorlatinib arm, the 7-year PFS rate was 65.0% (95% CI, 54.5%-77.4%) in patients with TP53 wild-type disease (n = 73) vs 40.8% (95% CI, 27.3%-61.1%) in those with TP53-mutated disease (n = 43; HR, 0.48; 95% CI, 0.268-0.857); median PFS was not reached (NR) vs 51.6 months (95% CI, 16.4-NR), respectively.
