An unnamed teenager who alleged she was sexually assaulted at a University of Chicago frat house has filed a lawsuit, alleging the fraternity did not do enough to prevent sexual assaults, despite several other reports dating back to 2009. The teen has accused Alpha Delta Phi and its University of Chicago chapter of multiple counts of negligence, alleging "both ignored known sexual assault risks at the house and failed to put meaningful safeguards in place," attorneys for Jane Doe said in a statement Tuesday. The teenager says she was unable to provide consent when she was sexually assaulted on Feb. 7, according to the lawsuit. After the alleged sexual assault by a then-member of the frat, Jane Doe says she was found "struggling to speak and required assistance to walk" as she left the room, according to the suit. Alpha Delta Phi national headquarters told ABC News it "suspended the member involved" after "learning of these allegations. " ABC News has reached out to the University of Chicago for comment. The fraternity member accused of sexual assault did not immediately respond to ABC News' request for comment.

Can you sue over spam calls in Florida? One business owner says he got 649 unwanted calls in days - WKMG
Local NewsAttorneys say damages can range from $500 to $1,500 per call or textORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida business owner says spam calls have become more than an annoyance: he says they’re overwhelming his phone and interfering with his ability to run his company. Brian Wisniewski, who runs River Rave Entertainment, told News 6 he’s dealing with near-constant calls during business hours. “I get them about one every two minutes,” he said. “So by the time I hang up with one and get them to hang up, I’m on a call with another one. It’s continuous all day long from about 9:30 in the morning until 9:00 o’clock at night.”Wisniewski said that since last Thursday alone, he’s logged 649 unwanted calls. In one day, he said he received around 170. He reached out to News 6 after a previous report on robocalls, saying the volume has made it difficult for legitimate customers to reach him. “I’ve had to suspend it until I can get this under control because everybody that needs to get a hold of me can’t reach me,” he said.
