A Multifaceted Journey to Tremblant during the PwC World Cup - Coupe du monde Tremblant PwC

After a few laps and scenic selfies from Tremblant’s summit, with the lake as a backdrop, we set off to find a spot to watch Mikaela race. We spent some time in the excitement of the crowd at the finish line before hiking up the slope to the Employee Section—an incredible perk Tremblant offered its staff to watch the event. The atmosphere was electric; people were in great spirits, national anthems filled the air, and everyone was cheering for the athletes. It was amazing to see so many different countries coming together to celebrate. “After working with Mikaela for years, I finally had the chance to cheer her on as she earned a bronze medal back on North American soil!”While Mikaela recovered, we celebrated. Jack, some coworkers, and I headed to one of the most renowned après-ski spots in the world—Le P’tit Caribou. Neon lights contrasted against the rustic wooden bars, a DJ played from inside a gondola, buckets of beers chilled on ice, and people who couldn’t speak each other’s languages somehow all knew the dance moves to “Y-M-C-A.” It was everything you imagine an après-ski party should be!

Unraveling the multifaceted relationship between creativity and mental health with longitudinal analyses of genotyped twins - Nature

IntroductionCreativity, broadly defined as the ability to form novel and valuable ideas or to find new solutions to problems [1], has long been suggested to be associated with psychiatric disorders [2]. This idea is fueled by many anecdotal examples of famous creators with eccentric personalities and psychiatric problems, from Vincent van Gogh and Ernest Hemingway to Virginia Woolf and Camille Claudel [3]. More recently, research including some systematic reviews and meta-analyses, has suggested that creativity and engagement in creative activities are associated with an increased risk of mental health problems [4, 5]. For example, creative professions were associated with a higher risk of bipolar disorder [6], music playing with more psychosis-like experiences [7, 8], and artistic achievement with multiple mental disorders [9]. However, the literature shows inconsistencies. For example, Cuypers et al. [10] found music-related creative activities to be associated with better perceived mental health. Similarly, art-related cultural activities were associated with less depression in older adults [11] and more social well-being in young adults [12].

Anaheim Ducks vs. New York Rangers - NHL Game Recap - October 19, 2026 - CBS Sports

NEW YORK (AP) Sean Durzi scored 78 seconds in, Dylan Garand made 29 saves and the New York Rangers defeated the travel-weary Anaheim Ducks 5-2 on Monday night to improve to 6-0-0 at home this fall. The Rangers did not pick up their sixth victory at Madison Square Garden last season until Jan. 26, their 23rd game there. They lost 27 of 41 at home on the way to missing the playoffs and finishing last in the Eastern Conference. There is hope of a turnaround given this start, even missing franchise goaltender Igor Shesterkin for the rest of the season. Garand was making a fifth consecutive start since Shesterkin went down, and he has allowed two or fewer goals in nine of 10 NHL appearances dating to his debut last spring. He got support early and often, with Durzi's goal making it three home games in a row where the Rangers have a goal in the first two minutes. That has only happened once before for New York, in March 1989. Oliver Bjorkstrand scored twice, captain J. T. Miller and Gabe Perreault each had a goal and Alexis Lafrenière recorded two assists.
