SOCIETYWednesday, October 21, 2026 4:05AMThe son of former NFL player Eric Dickerson is suing Oaks Christian School, alleging racial harassment, bullying and repeated physical assaults. WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. (KABC) -- The son of former NFL player and Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson has filed a lawsuit against Oaks Christian School in Westlake Village, alleging he was subjected to repeated racial harassment, bullying and physical assaults while a student there. According to the lawsuit, the allegations stem from the boy's experience as a sixth grader at the school two years ago. Eric Dickerson, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1983, is not named as a plaintiff in the case. The lawsuit alleges the student was repeatedly subjected to racial slurs, bullying and physical assault, and that school officials failed to take meaningful action despite being aware of the alleged harassment. The complaint claims students repeatedly directed the N-word at Dickerson's son and makes reference to a primary harasser. The lawsuit further alleges that, rather than investigating the allegations, the student's teacher accused him of lying in front of his peers.
