Authorities said the victim was found dead in the eastbound lanes just before 5:30 a.m. The Port Authority reopened the left lane of the Trans Manhattan Expressway to trucks and tractor-trailers in an effort to ease congestion. All other traffic continues to be diverted to local streets while the investigation remains ongoing.
