If you hit the request button on ReVamp’s Steam page, you’re not getting in this month. Digital Sun, the studio behind Moonlighter and Cataclismo, had planned a public Steam playtest for ReVamp near the end of October. After many players signed up, it changed course and opted to begin with a smaller test on Discord. The reason is a new one. It’s AI cloning. The studio announced the change across Steam, X and Bluesky. It says it’s spooked by games getting copied and shipped before the real thing even exists. According to Game Developer, the smaller test will run as a “more contained” playtest through its Discord server starting on October 29. Some players are sympathetic, others are annoyed about losing their spot, and plenty are asking whether this is where every indie demo ends up:ReVamp’s Discord playtest opens in waves from October 29Signing up on Steam won’t do it anymore. Kotaku reports that Digital Sun adds that you can still sign up for the Discord playtest ahead of October 29. Access won’t open all at once, either. Discord access to the first playtest will be granted in waves starting October 29.

You can now sign up to playtest the genre-bending Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, and while you're at it the original is free for a few days too

I love an everything seasoning video game. You know, the kind of game where it's five different genres at once, somehow, all of which builds into one cohesive vision? It's not an easy thing to pull off, but Daniel Mullins seems to be quite good at it, as evidenced by Inscryption, and as suggested by the upcoming Pony Island 2: Panda Circus. Which, by the way, now has a playtest you can sign up for. A new trailer for Pony Island 2: Panda Circus dropped during the latest Triple-i Initiative, showing off more of the game and its genre-bending ways in action. You can check that out below for a taste. The trailer's main purpose was to inform you of that aforementioned playtest; signing up is easy, all you have to do is head to the puzzle horror's Steam page and mark yourself as interested in the playtest. Not sure if there's guaranteed entry for everyone that signs up, but hey ho, clicking a couple of buttons won't harm you (I cannot be held responsible if clicking a couple of buttons does harm you).

Xiaomi 18 Pro vs Xiaomi 18 Fold: Which Flagship to Buy in 2026? - Memeburn

For most buyers, the Xiaomi 18 Pro is the better phone for the money, because it starts at ¥5,999 against ¥10,999 for the Xiaomi 18 Fold and still carries the larger main camera sensor, the 200MP telephoto, the bigger battery, faster charging and a stronger dust rating. The Fold earns its premium only through its 7.58-inch inner display, which by Memeburn’s calculation offers about 74% more screen area than the Pro, and through six-app multitasking, so it suits people who work on their phone rather than people who mainly shoot and scroll.
