Inside the $28M Waterfront Estate Offering Panoramic Lake Washington Views—and a Primary Bigger Than an NYC Apartment

Good things come to those who wait, and a couple of restarts paid off in terms of a perfect view from one Seattle-area home. Now, this unique 13,840-square-foot home, finished in 2023, is listed for $28 million. "[The house] has the most spectacular view because it incorporates the downtown Bellevue skyline, the Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Meydenbauer Bay, and Lake Washington all into one view, which is pretty rare. Usually, you get one of those things," says listing agent Lisa Turnure with Coldwell Banker Bain of Bellevue. "This [house] is my style too [and] I thought, I could live here. It is a dream. It is one of the most beautiful houses I've ever seen, and I see a lot of beautiful homes. "Turnure is very familiar with this house since she helped the sellers find the perfect place to put their dream home in Medina, WA. The home is long to take advantage of the views. VIDEO: AirBnb Cracks Down On Hosts Who Force Guests to Do Chores

Airbnb has introduced a new set of rules barring hosts from forcing guests to perform demanding chores before checkout. Under the policy unveiled by the global short-term rental company this week, guests will no longer be required to complete tasks that would take a lot of time, or that a cleaner would typically perform. That  includes stripping beds, doing a load of laundry, removing trash off the premises, and washing and putting away dishes. In another major development, AirBnB hosts will be prohibited from imposing fines or penalties on renters, because they already have protection against any guest damage. According to the company, the policy overhaul comes in response to pushback from customers complaining about having to both pay cleaning fees and being forced to do chores themselves prior to checkout. The new rules will apply to reservations booked on or after Nov. 20, 2026. Watch the video above for an in-depth look at the AirBnB rule changes after years of customer complaints.
