Bullet-dodging PlayStation shooter Saros has welcomed a sizeable Zenith update today, which has the twin aims of making the game both more accessible for those who haven't played it (or are struggling to get into it) and more replayable for those who have.

The headline additions are a quickfire boss-rush mode, a New Game Plus mode, an entire new layer of modifiers to make runs easier and harder, and - very appealingly - a slow-mo option to slow the game down.

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation Lets You Play On The Hardest Difficulty From The Start Because Of The ‘Wide Variety Of End-Game Content’

The first two Final Fantasy VII remake games made Hard Mode a bonus reward you could only unlock by first beating the game. Final Fantasy VII Revelation dispenses with that approach and will make it an option from the start of the game. Thank the Ancients! “Hard Mode does indeed exist in Revelation, however, it won’t function in the exact same way as it did in Remake and Rebirth,” Naoki Hamaguchi confirmed to Hardcore Gamer at TGS 2026. “In Revelation, we’ve reimagined the high-difficulty experience to align with the new game design.” He continued: Hard Mode is selectable from the very start of this game. Therefore, players who want to tackle challenging battles and high-difficulty gameplay right from the beginning can enjoy that experience from their very first playthrough. This is because, unlike Remake and Rebirth, Revelation offers a wide variety of end-game content even after you’ve beaten the game. Rather than relying solely on the traditional flow of challenging Hard Mode after beating the game, we aimed to create a game where players can enjoy various new content and challenges even after completing the main story.

Kylie Minogue, The Original Cammy, Nearly Made A Cameo In The New Street Fighter

One of the most contentious things about the new Street Fighter movie is its portrayal of Cammy as a crazed, Harley Quinn-esque character, but this isn’t the first time a live-action version of M. Bison’s Doll has appeared on the big screen. Back in 1994, Australian singer and budding actor Kylie Minogue portrayed a more game-accurate (look, it’s all relative) version of Cammy in the 1994 Street Fighter movie starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and from the sound of it, she was in talks to possibly return for some kind of cameo this time around before things fell through. In an interview with LGBTQ+ publication Queerty, Orville Peck, the masked country singer who is also getting into acting himself, talked a bit about working on the Street Fighter movie, in which he plays Vega. This is a good role for him because Vega wears his own mask throughout the movie, which is a pretty good arrangement when you’re making your film debut as someone who has, as long as he’s been in the public eye, obscured his face. Peck and Minogue are known friends and collaborators, with the two releasing a song together with Diplo called “Midnight Ride” back in 2024.
