Jonathan Coachman says he’s already been told what WWE has in mind for WrestleMania — and we’re not talking about some vague possibilities. How ESPN Is Bringing WrestleMania 42 to Life Across Sports, Entertainment, and Culture - The Walt Disney Company

WrestleMania 42 — one of the biggest events in sports entertainment — takes center stage at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas this weekend and is poised to be one of the most star‑studded editions in WWE history. The two‑night spectacle unfolds Saturday and Sunday with marquee main events, as Cody Rhodes faces Randy Orton (with Pat McAfee in his corner), and Roman Reigns goes head‑to‑head with CM Punk in a highly anticipated showdown that caps months of storytelling. ESPN is playing an increasingly central role in bringing the scale, spectacle, and storytelling of WrestleMania to fans around the world. With WWE firmly embedded within the ESPN ecosystem — including WWE’s premium live events available through ESPN’s new direct‑to‑consumer service, and the first hour of WrestleMania airing on ESPN2 on Saturday and ESPN on Sunday — the network is reimagining how it covers one of the most iconic franchises in sports entertainment. The approach reflects ESPN’s broader strategy: meeting fans where they are while introducing new audiences to the cultural power of WWE.
