“If you could hear it, you would think I was killing an animal.”
That’s Pedro Pascal on his cello playing, more than a year after he started lessons for a movie that hadn’t been greenlit yet. The star first had lunch with Tony Gilroy in late July 2025 about taking on the lead role of his latest movie, “Behemoth!.” But even before anything was signed, and before he knew whether the project would hold together, Pascal went straight to cellists Timothy Loo and Charlie Tyler and got to work.

He proposed during their show at the New Theatre in Cardiff, and "the idea is to get married in the main hall some time in May of next year". The ceramicist also said there were a lot of derelict chapels across Wales and "we need to repurpose these buildings and give them a new lease of life". He said Wales had inspired him to get into ceramics, with his mum having had a passion for pottery too. He told BBC Radio Wales that he remembered driving down Welsh country lanes in search of pottery when he was growing up. Jones said he found Capel Salem while "trawling the internet" and he and Hogarth drove up to see it the following day and "fell in love with the place".

The new release generated $10.4 million from 3,458 North American theaters on Friday, taking the No. 1 spot. It’s a strong start for the film, which looks to pull in $24 million by Sunday.
