Daimon Robotics building the infrastructure layer for tactile intelligence - The Robot Report

Vision has become central to modern robotics, but cameras alone cannot tell a robot everything it needs to know about physical contact. When handling flexible objects, inserting components, or manipulating delicate items, robots need information about forces, slippage, and contact that visual systems may miss. Daimon Robotics wants to provide the infrastructure to help robots develop that capability.

Novel Androgen Receptor Degrader Demonstrates Antitumor Activity in Advanced Prostate Cancer - The ASCO Post

The novel androgen receptor degrader bavdegalutamide demonstrated a manageable safety profile and antitumor activity in patients with metastatic castration–resistant prostate cancer previously treated with androgen receptor pathway inhibitors, particularly those with tumors harboring specific androgen receptor mutations, according to findings from a phase I/II study reported by Gao et al in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. The open-label, phase I/II study (ClinicalTrials.gov identifier NCT03888612) enrolled 239 patients at 20 U. S. sites. Eligible patients had metastatic castration–resistant prostate cancer and had previously received at least one androgen receptor pathway inhibitor. The investigators evaluated bavdegalutamide (ARV-110), a proteolysis-targeting chimera (PROTAC) designed to promote androgen receptor degradation through recruitment of an E3 ubiquitin ligase.
