Nemuel Feurle Climbs 5.14cR Trad with Rhapsody - Gripped Climbing Magazine

Nemuel Feurle, 25, has repeated Rhapsody 5.14cR at Dumbarton Rock, Scotland. First climbed by Dave MacLeod in 2006, Rhapsody was the world’s first route graded E11 and remains one of trad climbing’s true test-piece lines. Sonnie Trotter made the second ascent in 2008, followed by the third ascent a few weeks later by Steve McClure. After a paragliding incident in Kyrgyzstan at the end of July forced a change of plans, Feurle found himself trading his original summer adventure for a climbing project at Dumbarton, joined by Lara Neumeier. Feurle started strongly, linking moves with confidence before fatigue began to take its toll. Despite finding more efficient resting positions, he repeatedly fell at the traverse, a demanding cross-move to the right.

Great Pottery Thrown Down stars to marry in Pwllheli home after proposal 'on Welsh soil' - BBC

58 minutes agoAngela FergusonBBC WalesPatch DolanKeith Brymer Jones, who has Welsh ancestry, said he and his fiance Marj Hogarth will be staying in Pwllheli "for good"The Great Pottery Throw Down judge Keith Brymer Jones has told how he and his partner are to marry in their north Wales chapel home after he proposed to her "on Welsh soil". Jones said he and actor Marj Hogarth, who are renovating a Grade II-listed chapel in Pwllheli, were on tour "and I just thought I ought to really propose to her on Welsh soil". He proposed during their show at the New Theatre in Cardiff, and "the idea is to get married in the main hall some time in May of next year". The ceramicist also said there were a lot of derelict chapels across Wales and "we need to repurpose these buildings and give them a new lease of life". He said Wales had inspired him to get into ceramics, with his mum having had a passion for pottery too. He told BBC Radio Wales that he remembered driving down Welsh country lanes in search of pottery when he was growing up. Jones said he found Capel Salem while "trawling the internet" and he and Hogarth drove up to see it the following day and "fell in love with the place".
