I would really like it if someone made a Delicious in Dungeon game. It doesn't have to be official, it can be legally distinct! I've been asking for over two years now! I imagine I'll have to keep waiting, but luckily for me, a new game is out today which certainly feels reminiscent of the delightful (and morbid) anime, while still going for its own thing: Deep Dish Dungeon, a co-op dungeon crawler about making do with the ingredients you find that has a dash of Metroidvania elements.

On the surface, Deep Dish Dungeon looks like a… sigh, friendslop game (I don't like the term either). It certainly doesn't seem to be as curated as Big Walk, but the game's titular dungeon is apparently "handcrafted," so I don't imagine it's necessarily an infinitely replayable type deal. Amongst all the dungeoneering you'll be doing, which includes fighting skeletons and solving puzzles, you'll also be able to craft some tools and, importantly to your survival, cook up meals.
