Blockchain analytics platform Dune has launched real-time market data feeds covering more than 200 onchain trading venues, aiming to bring decentralized market activity into the trading systems used by traditional financial institutions. The new service provides trade data from 12 blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Base and XLayer, roughly one second after execution, according to a Thursday announcement. The feeds cover spot trading across decentralized exchanges, as well as perpetual futures trading on Hyperliquid and Lighter, with standardized data on prices, trade sizes and transaction details across markets. According to Dune co-founder and CEO Fredrik Haga, quant funds, market makers, asset managers and bank trading desks are among the first clients using the service, although he declined to identify them, citing nondisclosure agreements. Dune said the firms use the data to assess liquidity, compare prices across venues and evaluate trading strategies before committing capital. “Most institutions are watching onchain markets first, because they can’t price these assets properly without them anymore,” Haga said.

Crypto Long & Short: Why real-world assets need fixed-rate loans onchain
Oct 21, 2026, 11:00 a.m. EDT5 min readRésuméYou're reading Crypto Long & Short, our weekly newsletter featuring insights, news and analysis for the professional investor. Sign up here to get it in your inbox every Wednesday. Fixed-rate lending is the clearest growth lever for real-world assets (RWAs) in decentralized finance (DeFi). It unlocks a strategy that credit desks have run for decades but DeFi has never meaningfully implemented: buy a quality income asset, borrow against it at a locked rate below the asset’s yield and buy more of the asset. Stablecoins are steadily sitting around $300 billion in supply and aggregate vault assets are nearing the $20 billion milestone. Morpho alone carries more than $16 billion in deposits, most of it in variable-rate markets priced on pool utilization, which serve crypto-native traders who manage liquid positions in real time but leave longer-dated borrowers with uncertainty. Fixed-rate, fixed-term lending closes that gap by matching the term of the loan to the duration of the collateral, especially for RWAs whose redemptions can settle anywhere from T+7 to T+90.

U.S. Clarity Act failure gives Asia and Middle East a competitive edge, says Apex Group CEO
Oct 24, 2026, 8:00 a.m. EDT4 min readSummaryThe U. S. risks losing digital asset business to faster-moving jurisdictions in Asia, the Middle East and Bermuda after the Senate failed to advance the Clarity Act, Apex Group CEO Peter Hughes said. Hughes said Europe’s crypto rules remain restrictive, while Saudi Arabia is emerging as a tokenization hub by opening its real estate market to digital assets and greater foreign investment. Tokenized money market funds and regulated, yield-bearing stablecoins could accelerate institutional adoption by offering higher returns, collateral utility and broader access than traditional financial products, Hughes said. The U. S. risks losing digital asset business to Asia and the Middle East if it continues to delay crypto legislation or fails to implement a clear, certain regulatory framework for digital assets, said Peter Hughes, founder and CEO of Apex Group, a global financial firm. Hughes said, however, that Europe will not benefit from Washington’s setback despite having its own rules in place since July 1.
