A reminder, the Republican incumbent Dan S Sullivan will be competing against Peltola and another candidate named Daniel J Sullivan, a retired schoolteacher also running as a Republican. The incumbent senator will appear on the 3 November ballot in Alaska with the words “(Registered Republican) Incumbent” next to his name to make it clearer for voters. Since the Last Frontier uses ranked-choice voting in their elections, Alaskans can rank up to five candidates. However, Trump has routinely disparaged the voting method, calling it a “scam” and encouraging voters to support a ballot measure in the state to repeal it.
