Corbett, Keefe earn gold as Badgers women finish third at national championships - Brock University Athletics

Robbie Pemberton (Richmond Hill) of the men’s golf team and Ava Snyder (St. Catharines) of the women’s cross country team have been named the Brock University Athletes of the Week for the period ending Sunday, Oct. 4. Pemberton highlighted an impressive showing for the Badgers at both the Waterloo-Laurier Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 27, and the Guelph Invitational on Monday, Sept. 28. In his first open of the week, the fifth-year physical education major shot a 71 at Rebel Creek Golf Club and a 74 at Grey Silo Golf Club, placing as the highest-scoring Brock golfer and tying for ninth overall. Following up on that performance, Pemberton shot a 69 to lead the Badgers and tie for the best individual score. Across the two events, Pemberton’s consistency helped lead the Badgers to a third-place tie in Waterloo and a first-place finish in Guelph.
