Guest Dispatch: Why Mongolia Matters to Canada’s Indo-Pacific Strategy - Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada

President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh’s participation at the United Nations General Assembly in New York provided more than an opportunity to reinforce Mongolia’s international profile. High-level contacts of this nature maintain political momentum and demonstrate the value both countries attach to a relationship that has developed substantially since diplomatic relations were established in 1973.
