V is running out of time. That’s the premise of Cyberpunk 2077: a stolen chip is slowly rewriting their mind. The only way out of this particular predicament ushers V through a cast of fixers, rock stars, and corporate killers who all want something from you. And yet, despite those bewildering stakes, there’s a decent chance you spent most of your time in the game clearing gigs, scanning NCPD crime scenes, and wandering Night City’s neon alleys. Then the credits rolled and, within moments, you were back at the character creator. You’re in good company: Cyberpunk 2077 draws you into that second (or third, or fourth) replay, no matter how many hours you already have in the game. While there’s new content to peruse, such as the brand-new Edgerunners 2 Update, which adds a perk that lets V dual-wield, there are plenty more self-guided replay strats that make this familiar game feel fresh. Here are eight rules to make Night City feel like a place you’ve never been.

Gig terms: Start as a Nomad, build around revolvers, and look the part. Nomads are Night City’s outsiders — clans of drifters who live in the Badlands, beyond city limits.

The Battlestar Galactica Board Game Is Making a Surprise Comeback Next Year

When it comes to board games, a frequent “Holy Grail” game (a term used to describe a game that someone has been hunting for, usually out of print and expensive) on many lists is Fantasy Flight Games’ Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game. But it looks like the search may be coming to an end for fans, as it was announced today that Ghost Galaxy has entered into an agreement with Universal and Fantasy Flight Games to publish a brand-new edition of this coveted title, coming to crowdfunding early next year. First released back in 2008 and featuring imagery from the Sci-Fi Channel reboot, this social deduction/hidden traitor game wonderfully captured the tension from the show, where anyone could be a secret Cylon agent trying to thwart the single mission of the humans—to get home. Battlestar Galactica would go on to get three expansions, but almost a decade ago now, it all went out of print, and now prices on the secondary market for a full set (base game + expansions) could easily cost you more than a grand.
