Description
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says the Palestinian city of Hebron will be put under lockdown after Israel thwarted what it's calling a "terrorist attack" in the occupied West Bank. Israel's military said it has killed two gunmen allegedly responsible for the attack that killed two Israeli soldiers near the city. Israeli soldiers have now been ordered to search home-to-home in Hebron, and evacuate its Palestinian residents ahead of a large-scale Israeli military operation into the West Bank. Meanwhile, Israel's far-right National Minister is calling for the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority and for all Palestinians in the West Bank to be banned from traveling by road. This comes days before Israeli voters will decide on Tuesday whether or not to grant Netanyahu yet another term as prime minister.
