Extended interview with BC Green Party leader Emily Lowan

Description

Global's Kylie Stanton sits down with BC Green Party leader Emily Lowan in this extended interview. We find out about Emily's upbringing and what is important to her and her party ahead of the provincial election. Emily touches on how she knew that she had to get into politics when U.S. President Donald Trump was first elected to office in 2016. Which is also around the same time she met Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party of Canada. Inspired by the fear she felt for her future and for British Columbians, Emily says she has found a hopeful path in getting involved.
